MICHELLE & AARON

About the Wedding

We're getting married in Taiwan! It's where our story began in 2016 when we met during an internship and where we later got engaged. Now, after almost a decade of adventures together, we're finally saying "I do" in the place that first brought us together.

We can't imagine celebrating this milestone anywhere else in the world, and nothing would make our day more special than having our family and friends join us in Taiwan—a place that holds countless memories for us and will soon hold our most precious one yet.

FAQs

When should we fly to arrive in Taiwan in time for the wedding?

Our wedding is on 11/30/2025 at 5:30PM Taipei Standard Time, which is 11/29 in the US. As it takes ~13-20 hours to fly to Taipei, you'll need to leave on the 28th at the latest to arrive in time!

What is the dress code / what should I wear?

We’re excited to celebrate with you on our special day! Please note the following dress code guidelines:

For women:

  • Cocktail or formal dresses (knee-length to floor-length)
  • Elegant jumpsuits are welcome
  • Please refrain from wearing white, cream, or ivory - these colors are reserved for the bride
  • Formal sandals, heels, or dressy flats (no sneakers, flip-flops, or casual footwear)

For men:

  • Suits or dress pants with button-down shirts and ties
  • Dress shoes (no sneakers, sandals, flip-flops, or casual footwear)

Our ceremony will be outdoors, but the reception will take place indoors. Average temperatures during the end of November / beginning of December range from a high of 21C (70F) to a low of 15C (59F). We recommend a light jacket for the evening.

The overall feel we’re aiming for is formal but comfortable. We appreciate your effort to help make our wedding photos look cohesive and special!

What time should I arrive?

If you intend to attend the ceremony, please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the ceremony begins at 17:30. Otherwise, reception starts at 18:00 and dinner is at 18:30PM.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Your presence is all we ask for; however, if you'd like to contribute to our life together, there will be a table at the venue for cards or contributions. You can also find us on Venmo or Zelle at 510-364-3991. We truly appreciate any contributions or thoughtful gestures.

Can I bring a plus one?

To ensure we can accommodate all of our guests comfortably, we are only able to include the guests specifically named on your invitation.

‍We appreciate your understanding that we cannot accommodate any additional guests beyond those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions about your specific invitation, please reach out to us directly.

Thank you for respecting our wishes as we celebrate this special day with our closest family and friends.

Where should we stay?

We do not have a room block, but as the wedding is located at the edge of Taipei, we recommend finding accomodation closer to central Taipei (on the red line if you wish to take the MRT to the wedding). If you need more tips, check out our guide to Taipei.

If I'm driving, where should I park?
